Dynascan Discusses Company Advancements With Packaging Today Magazine

Dynascan’s Marketing Manager (MM) recently met up with Europe’s leading packaging magazine, Packaging Today. During the interview many topics were covered, and you can read the full article here, but below are a few highlights and brief summary of what was discussed…

On LIMAB UK…
Early this year, Dynascan struck a deal with LIMAB UK, a specialist in-process measurement company providing non-contact laser and optical measuring systems and sensors for industrial applications. The deal will see LIMAB UK become our new UK and ROI distributor, which is significant in terms of continually growing the brand and getting products, such as the MediBLUE, out there.

On the advantages and disadvantages of each testing method…
As you’re probably aware, Dynascan has a multitude of different test methods which are specifically created for certain industries and applications. It’s important for the user to know the factors which will ultimately affect the outcome of testing. In the article, our MM gives insight into some of these factors, such as capital costs and batch testing.

On the MediTEST 10 Channel…
Seeing as Dynascan has been in operation for almost 20 years, it’s difficult to single out one achievement which ranks higher than others. However, our MM pointed to the MediTEST 10 Channel as the creation the team are most proud of. With the market lacking many instruments like the 10 Channel, it was an auspicious time to launch a solution which rapidly speeds up testing time, and basically eradicates the need for specialist tooling. For more details on the MediTEST, take a look on the product page.

On the future of Dynascan…
Without giving too much away, the MM gave us a sneak peek into Dynascan’s future; specifically, a cigarette packaging tester. Cigarettes still possess a large share of the consumer market, so naturally a company such as Dynascan needs to capitalise on customer demands. This non-destructive test method is still in the early stages of production but is being considered ‘desirable’ amongst market professionals. As well as this, the MM mentioned the wider picture going forward, which will consist of remaining innovative in potentially challenging climates.
